'A Day in the Life' Lyrics

from HelloTxt'A Day in the Life' lyrics will go up for auction in New York City this year. John Lennon wrote the lyrics to 'A Day in the Life' for the Beatles. The song was the last track from the "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album. Lyrics that are written on this single piece of paper could be worth $700,000. If you got the money, it will be available for bidding at Sotheby's auction in June. The auction house said the lyrics used to belong to Beatles road manager Mal Evans. John Lennon wrote on both sides of the single sheet of paper. His writing style was strange at times, going from cursive to print, and often correcting mistakes in red ink. The song went from the piece of paper to full 40-piece orchestra written by Paul McCartney. Most people don't know this, but the song itself was inspired by the accidental death of Tara Browne. He was the Guinness heir and a close friend of Lennon and McCartney. Browne was a young London socialite who died in a car accident.
